PKK terrorist organization initiated the disarmament process in the city of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq two days ago.
In the ceremony attended by the organization’s leader Bese Hozat and 30 PKK terrorists, weapons were symbolically abandoned and burned in a barrel.
Following the events, attention turned to AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
AKP MEMBER ÇELİK FIRST SAID “HISTORIC SPEECH”, THEN SAID “NO SURPRISE”
In an NTV broadcast on July 9, AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik said, “Our President will make a historic speech on Saturday morning. I invite all our citizens to listen to that announcement” but did not provide details.
On the evening of July 10, Çelik, in a live broadcast on tv100, gave the message “No surprises”.
In his statement pointing to today, Çelik said, “If this disarmament process is realized, President Erdoğan will make his first speech on Saturday morning regarding the current situation and the future. It will be a comprehensive and profound speech. Everyone is waiting for good news. Actually, it will be a historic speech. He will evaluate all these developments that have taken place.”

AKP’s President Erdoğan has started his much-anticipated speech.
Erdoğan is making statements in Kızılcahamam where his party is at camp.

* We bid farewell to our comrade in the cause and advisor, Yiğit Bulut, to the mercy of God. Today, he will hopefully be laid to rest in Karacaahmet. We will lay him to rest with the afternoon prayer at the Faculty of Theology at Marmara University. We cannot attend the ceremony due to this meeting, but our organization will be there. They will attend the ceremony. He had a severe illness. When I visited him at the hospital due to this illness, he was really in a very serious condition.

’12 MARTYRS’ ANNOUNCEMENT
* We lost 12 homeland sons, 12 heroes martyred. Our hearts are broken. I pray for mercy from Allah for our martyrs who were martyred by exposure to methane gas. May God surround them with His mercy. May their places be paradise, God willing.
* Yesterday was the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, one of the most shameful events in recent human history. As Turkey, we continue to stand by Bosnia and our Bosniak brothers to prevent similar pains from happening again. Just like our Bosniak brothers, we send our prayers to the people of Gaza who have been subjected to genocide in front of the civilized world for 22 months, and express that we will be with them in their honorable struggle.

WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY?
Starting with the initiative of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, in a process that followed the call of the terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan to dissolve itself, the terrorist organization PKK symbolically abandoned its weapons today at a ceremony held in Sulaymaniyah.
The disarmament ceremony of the organization started at 11.25 and ended at 11.45.
In the ceremony, KCK Executive Council Co-Chair Bese Hozat, Nedim Seven, Tekoşin Ozan, and Tekin Muş were present.
A total of 30 PKK terrorists, 15 women and 15 men, were present at the ceremony.
